How many times a week should you perform abdominal exercises and what should the correct waist circumference measured at navel be for 170 cm height?

Number of abdominal trainings in a week depends on the training objective and the way it is exercised. Exercising endurance you can do it 3x and 7x a week but each training has to be composed of a large number of repetitions depending on your proficiency and diversity of the exercise. In mass exercises you should exercise about 3-4x a week utilising an appropriate training which consists of fewer repetitions and slightly longer intervals between exercises. In case of advanced athletes the exercises can be performed daily but then it has to be planned so as to have longer rest periods functioning as regeneration. Establishing the appropriate amount, type and application of exercises depends on athlete’s proficiency, objective of the training, time possibilities that is why it is difficult to write about details that would require learning more about the athlete.
