Training programmes in weight control – objectives

In the training programmes focusing on weight control the main objective is the intensification of the processes of fat burning by intensifying two stages of this process:

    1. Intensification of lipolysis – hydrolysis of fat in fat cells into fatty acids and glycerol, which can pass through the cell membrane to blood.
    2. The process of oxidation of fatty acids – burning of those fatty acids which went through the blood.

Both these stages have to be coexisting to enable burning of the fat tissue. In the training the influence has to be both on lypolitic stage by an appropriate preparation of exercises and diet and supplementation as well as emphasizing the second one by an appropriate intensity of trainings during which fat acids are utilized as energetic substrates.
